Menards is privately owned and works under a completely different business model They own manufacturing on many of their products, especially building materials They own and distribute their own concrete, interior and exterior doors, concrete block and patio blocks to name just a few items

While Menards explicitly states the availability is not guaranteed, to me it is absurd you are even offered the option to purchase an item that is indicated in-stock then arrive and its not, either because someone purchased it in the interim or their electronic inventory is lagging and ineffectual

Ohhh I FUCKING HATE Menards layout and their app is a steaming pile If it shows you where what you want COULD be in the store and just broadly gestures to the general area whereas Lowe's and HD actually can narrow it down to not only aisle but section of aisle
