lesa cook is a sculptor and painter working in the tradition of classical realism. her work includes: figurative terra cotta sculptures and reliefs, oil paintings including portraits and still lifes, and drawings done in various media. she teaches at the delaplaine arts center and frederick community college in frederick, md. she received her ba from the university of south carolina and also studied at the art league in alexandria, va
