This is the same on assessments too, BTW When a student tries an assessment more than once we can see previous attempts as long as they've been submitted, and we can also see if you started an attempt and didn't submit, we just can't see the the actual attempt until you hit that "finish" button or we force-submit it ourselves (which I don't do because I have no idea if the student needs more
