I started on 0 low pop servers for little to no interaction w other players (save for chat) while I got comfortable w learning the ropes of the game Lately, I found and started playing a more populated server where it's inevitable to meet interact w other players I'm finding it very enjoying

Playing the same weekly server throughout the month can be good because you start with no bp's but you can collect them through the month and each weekly wipe you'll get to keep them (until the month ends)
