Be A Ruby is a 501 (c)3 organization founded in honor of our late daughter, and guided by our faith, our mission is to provide healthful food and essential basic needs on a regular basis to the homeless people in Kent and Ottawa counties

She loved everyone and in everything she did, she did it with a smile and love No matter how you felt that day, if you spent a few minutes with her, you would be smiling She loved God and everything that went with it She loved singing his songs and dancing to the music She lived and is the reason of Be Kind Love Big #BEARUBY

We have a Feed your Neighbor event every month downtown We start at 11am and we hand out food and clothing to the less fortunate downtown We average serving 125 food and clothing If you have a desire to help you can RSVP on the events page for the date you would like to help
