I have this issue EVERY time I try to use login to MyGov It is so frustrating totally unacceptable at any time, let alone 2025 when it has not been fixed for years! I don't want to and shouldn't have to go through the interminable pain of setting-up a new account and especially when it won't solve the MyGov tech problem! It is just so unfair!!!

The myGov app is blue and the myGovID app is green with a fingerprint on it If you've established that you're using the correct app and are still not able to log in and see any information, try logging in using a web browser to log in to your myGov

I have a myGov account And I have the app on my iphone And I have the code generator on my iphone I log into my account in my browser It accepts my user id and password and asks for a code I go to the generator and log in OK It says i am already registered on another device So I must go to my account on the myGov site

A few weeks ago I went on to myGov to finalize my tax return for FY23 and I could see that it had already been lodged with a return showing of $8K This set off alarm bells as I knew I hadn’t lodged that, and I’ve never received such a high tax refund before Strangely I had to relink all my services to my myGov in order to access my ATO

Hi @pthutchens To achieve a strong identity with myGovID, you do need to have a passport If you want to link your mygov to the ATO, you can disconnect your digital identity and link using your security questions
