I joined the credit union 2 weeks ago, and literally the next day both me and my wife have been getting scam AFCU text messages We have never received them before

Hopefully AFCU can update the app to make the login experience better even for those using Private Relay The issue only appeared recently So, if you are having issues consider going to settings->your name->iCloud-> private relay and turning that option off Also, please call AFCU and ask them to fix the issue with their app

I switched from AFCU to MACU and im loving Mountain America AFCU used to nickle and dime me on everything, i used to have to call them all the time to figure out pending stuff that was pending for days MACU is the bees knees I highly recommend them

If you bank with AFCU, get another credit union! They don’t care about their members, just their internal systems and profits This is just the latest example Their debacle with trying to charge for previously free checking accounts because they were giving us “benefits” is another example I dropped them, and my life is much better

You don’t really need to change from AFCU (unless it’s just the principle of it all) I simply logged on to my online banking (not mobile) and sent Message, saying I do not consent to being auto enrolled in premium checking and will NOT consent to the $6 monthly fee It really is that simple Reply reply R_Meyer1 •
