- Galway vs Dingle? - Rick Steves Travel Forum
Of all the places we stopped in Ireland, Dingle was definitely our favorite and Galway was actually our least favorite (not that Galway was bad by any means) Shannon is a pretty convenient airport to either Dingle or Galway (more so than Dublin anyways)
- A Travel Price Comparison for Ireland Galway vs. Dingle for Nightlife . . .
Galway is better known for its museums and attractions, nightlife, shopping, and big city activities, while Dingle is more popular for its beaches, hiking, and impressive beauty Dingle is more touristy than Galway and is known for its traditional pubs, stunning coastline, and rugged cliffs
- Galway or Dingle area for first time visitors - Ireland Forum
Galway is a bustling city, busy with traffic and folk; Dingle is a small town, busy with folk and some traffic, but much more manageable I've just returned from 3nights, 2 full days in Dingle, and wish I could have stayed much, much longer
- Dingle ROK or Galway? : r irishtourism - Reddit
Cliffs of Moher have been on my bucket list for a while, so the thought of skipping it gives me pause, but after some research I’m wondering if ROK Dingle would be the better fit for us Although I’ve heard Galway is a cute city and has fun things to do
- Dingle or Galway Connemara area? - Rick Steves Travel Forum
I would suggest staying in Dingle and Dublin, and instead of going all the way up to Galway, I would stay in Killarney for a couple of nights We enjoyed Killarney National Park, Muckross Abbey, Muckross Estate, Torc Waterfall, the buggy ride, the covered boat tour
- Ireland: Dingle, Galway, Aran Islands - Video - Rick Steves Europe
Deepest Ireland is best experienced on its Gaelic-speaking west coast, where the rugged villages have changed little over the generations After exploring the remote Aran Islands, we visit Galway, chase a friendly dolphin, and delve into the scenic Dingle Peninsula
- 8 days Mid-May Galway area vs Dingle area? - Ireland Forum
With limited time which area would you recommend: 1 Galway Clifden Connemara with day tours OR 2 Dingle Dingle Peninsula Killarney It seems like choice 2 involves a lot more time riding a bus between locations Is one choice more spectacular than the other? We want maximum cultural exposure and beautiful scenery
- Vacation advice - Galway or Dingle? : r ireland - Reddit
Trying to decide if we should spend the last couple days in Ireland in Galway or the Dingle Peninsula We'll fly out of Shannon to London What advice does everyone have?
- Galway Connemara or Dingle Killarney? - Fodors Travel Talk Forums
Fly into Shannon, see CoM on the way to Galway City 2 nights in Galway, then move to Clifden for 4 nights or so and explore Connemara Spend a day in Bekan, Mayo before driving over to Dublin
- 3 days for Dingle and Galway. Does this sound like too much?
Dingle really should be 2 nights minimim AND at LEAST a 1 2 day of driving around the peninsula Instead Stay in Galway, visit the Cliffs of Moher, spend a night in Doolin or Lahinch, take the early ferry from Doolin to Inis Mor (Aran Islands)
